To minimize the dissolved oxygen content in boiler feedwater, broaden its application range, and improve its operational economy and safety, our company has conducted extensive research and achieved significant results.
The swirl film deaerator is a new type of thermal deaerator. The swirl film deaerator is a mixing heater that uses regenerative steam extraction to heat and remove dissolved gases from boiler feedwater. It can remove not only oxygen from boiler feedwater but also other gases. It serves as both the primary stage of the regenerative system and a collector for main condensate, makeup water, various drains, boiler continuous blowdown steam, turbine valve leakage steam, and external steam and water, ensuring feedwater quality and the safe operation of pumps. The deaerator is a crucial auxiliary device for the safe and economical operation of power plant systems.
Compared with other deaerators, the cyclone film deaerator has the following advantages in performance:
(1) Excellent deoxygenation effect: Dissolved oxygen in the deoxygenated water: Atmospheric cyclone film deaerator 7~15μg/L, guaranteed value ≤15μg/L; Pressure cyclone film deaerator 3~7μg/L, guaranteed value ≤7μg/L.
(2) Strong applicability: It can operate normally even under conditions of high dissolved oxygen content in the influent, low influent water temperature, large pressure changes, and large makeup water rate. The design load variation range is 30%~110% of the rated output.
(3) Good stability: When the load suddenly changes by 25%; the makeup water is increased by 10% instantaneously; the influent water temperature drops significantly; the oxygen content of the deoxygenated water is still qualified, and the deaerator does not vibrate.
(4) Energy saving and easy maintenance: The exhaust volume of the cyclone film deaerator is less than 1% of the output, and no additional exhaust steam cooler is required, which simplifies the equipment and reduces heat consumption. Meanwhile, it is easy to operate and requires few maintenance parts.
(5) Simplified thermal system
Because of the good heat transfer performance of the swirl film tube, the soft water heater can be eliminated, and the swirl film tube can also serve as the soft water heater, simplifying the equipment and reducing investment.
